Spin Discs Rotana set by Muffik is an unmissable accessory that pushes Muffik’s vision for healthy development a level up! These are safety tested, rotating discs embedded in puzzle shaped mats to help children twists while playing. Compatible with Muffik regular size mats or 4 minis, these are great attractions among kids especially while playing fun games like Floor is Lava!
In addition to active exercises and games, it can also be used for so-called dynamic sessions. By placing Spin Discs Rotana on a work chair or on the floor, you can keep your back in the correct sitting position. These discs will help to relieve the pressure from your spine and straighten your shoulders and chest.
Experts call it a dynamic session as these discs help create slight movements of the spine, lower back and neck, thus promoting natural activity of the intervertebral discs, which is essential for your health and the proper function of the spine and neck joints.

EYLF Learning Outcomes:
- Outcome 1 The discs support emerging autonomy and a sense of agency, as kids choose how to use them and feel successful mastering the balancing challenges
- Outcome 2 When used in group play, children develop cooperation, fairness, and social responsibility, negotiating turns and collaborating in games like “Floor is Lava”
- Outcome 3 Use of rotating discs strengthens core muscles, improves balance, coordination, and spatial awareness—key for physical health and motor skills
- Outcome 3 Children develop confidence, take on challenges (e.g. balancing on a disc), persist, and celebrate success
- Outcome 4 Through experimenting with spinning motions, children engage in inquiry, experimentation, problem-solving, and hypothesising (e.g. how far can I spin while staying steady?)
- Outcome 4 They build creativity, persistence, enthusiasm, and link these movement experiences into play scenarios—like “Floor is Lava”
- Outcome 4 The discs encourage children to transfer and adapt learning from one context (balancing skill) to another (games, chair sitting)
